Savannah Berry



Savannah Berry is a gifted singer/songwriter who recently garnered praise for her performances on The Voice.  She sang a duet with Sugarland for the 46th Annual ACM Awards, and she performed at the Country Music Is Love benefit concert for City of Hope.  Savannah is also a supporter of anti-hunger causes and kindly shared one of her favorite recipes.


The Voice contestants Taylor Beckham, Danielle Bradbery, Mary Miranda, and Savannah Berry volunteer at the Los Angeles Food Bank.

KAHLUA CAKE


Ingredients: 

Cake:

1 box of yellow cake mix
1 box of Instant chocolate pudding
1/2 cup of granulated sugar
4 lg eggs
1 cup of oil
1/2 cup Kahlua
3/4 cup water

Glaze:

1/4 cup Kahlua
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 stick butter

Cake Directions:

Mix all cake ingredients together for about 2 minutes or until smooth.  Pour into floured bundt cake pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes.  
Allow to cool for 5 minutes then turn cake pan over onto cake plate.

Glaze Directions:

Melt stick of butter in sauce pan.  Stir in Kahlua and powdered sugar.  Stir over low heat until dissolved.

Make small holes in the cake and pour glaze over the top of cake and into holes. 

Serve and enjoy!
